Biography

Dr. Young Mo Chung received the B.S., M.S., and Ph. D. degrees from Seoul National University, Seoul Korea, in 1986, 1988, and 1993, respectively, all in control and instrumentation engineering. From 1992 to 1994, he was an Assistant at the Department of Control and Instrumentation Engineering, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. He was with the Engineering Research Center for Control and Instrumentation, Seoul National University, engaged in the development of digital high definition TV and mobile radio systems from 1994 to 1995. In 1995, he joined the Department of Information and Communications Engineering, Hansung University, Seoul, Korea, where he is currently a Professor. From August 1998 to July 1999, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wireless Systems Laboratory, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA. From July 2005 to August 2006, he was a visiting professor at School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR, USA. His current research interests are in wireless communication systems and communication signal processing.
